It's about 50 km along the Mexico–Pachuca highway toward San Juan Teotihuacan — 60–75 minutes depending on traffic. Doze off or watch the horizon turn from black to gold; we'll handle the wheel.
You'll pull up beside the archaeological zone roughly 30 minutes before take-off. Check in, shake hands with your AFAC-certified pilot and catch a quick safety briefing while the balloon fills with air right in front of you.
Up you go as the sun crests the Pyramid of the Sun and the Avenue of the Dead unrolls beneath you. The whole experience runs about an hour and ends, as it should, with a celebratory toast.

Autobuses Teotihuacan depart Mexico City's Terminal Norte for San Juan Teotihuacan, and a quick local taxi finishes the trip to the meeting point. The catch: leave very early — the bus has to get you there before sunrise.
