A great way to start your morning!! View was great, Antonio, the pilot, was amazing. He has 14 years of experience and he showed his skill to us and safely flew and landed the balloon. We had a toast after as well to celebrate and it was apparently a tradition having a toast after flying! If you are afraid of heights, give it a shot still. It was worth it and super safe. Kudos to the other staffs as well they are very friendly and accommodating.
Worth getting up at 4am for! We had Alejandro as our pilot and Caolum for our balloon. The take off, flight, and landing were smooth with a great crew. The views unmatched. Alejandro was willing to communicate in English or Spanish as preferred and offered insight throughout the experience.

Where do I meet you, and is it hard to reach from Mexico City?
Lift-off is in Teotihuacan, State of Mexico. Pick a package with transport and we collect you in Mexico City, so you never have to drive or navigate at dawn. Either way, we send the exact coordinates once your booking is confirmed.
What time is the flight and how long does it last?
Balloons lift off around 6:00 AM, so it is an early start: check-in at the We Fly Teotihuacan reception is at 5:30 AM. You are in the air 45 to 60 minutes, and the morning on the field runs about 3 to 4 hours, from arrival to the landing toast. Add the breakfast in a cave at La Gruta and the package runs about 5 hours. The two packages with round-trip transport from Mexico City are a door-to-door day of about 8 hours 30 minutes: pickup at 4:30 AM and back in Mexico City around 1:00 PM.
Is it safe, and will the pilot speak English?
Yes. Every flight is run by certified pilots who brief passengers in English, and passenger insurance is included. Safety is our number-one priority on each lift-off.
What if the weather grounds the balloons?
We move you to another available date at no cost. Wind and weather safety always come first, so we would rather reschedule than risk a flight in poor conditions.

How many people ride in the basket?
Shared flights carry up to 16 passengers in the basket, and the Birthday Balloon Flight is capped at 12. The Private Balloon Flight is exclusive to your group, from 2 to 8 passengers, at $3,750 MXN (about US$205) each — $7,500 MXN (about US$410) for two.
How do I pay, and is there a card fee?
You pay the booking in full online when you reserve; there is no partial deposit. We accept credit card, debit card and PayPal, and card payments add a 5% surcharge over the listed figure. Your written confirmation carries your date, your meeting point and your time, so there is nothing to settle at the launch field.
Who cannot fly with you?
Minimum age is 5 years, with no exceptions, and pregnant travelers cannot board. Everyone else pays the same per-person price, child or adult. Message us before booking if you are flying with young children so we can confirm the age and weight requirements.
How far is Teotihuacan from Mexico City?
About 50 km, roughly 31 miles, northeast of Mexico City: about an hour by road on Highway 85D, and less than that before dawn when the motorway is empty. With our round-trip transport, pickup at your Mexico City hotel is at 4:30 AM and you are back around 1:00 PM.
What happens to my money if I cancel?
If the weather makes a safe lift-off impossible you reschedule free, as many times as the sky forces it. If you are the one who cancels we do not send cash back, but your full payment stays on file as credit valid for 12 months. If we cancel for a reason that is not the weather, every peso is refunded to the card or PayPal account you paid with.
